I think I'm starting to get restless from all the damn quiet around here. I'm up to my elbows in paper work and I have a report to file by tomorrow. At least I was able to get a hold of Sheva. We haven't been partners long but she already can tell something's up. [deleted] She at least gave me good news that we're getting a break for a while. Not what I was expecting to hear, but it's a start. Hopefully she won't be assigned to another mission without me.
Say, Elena, if you're not busy, why don't we go grab some coffee? I think I might be up for a while yet.

Guess all that's left to do is unpack. At least I'm back from the mission in one piece. It's quiet though. Never thought I'd get a chance to relax after everything that happened. I better start on this paper work. Maybe get some coffee going before I start trying to tackle this. Would you like some, Elena? I figure with all of your research, you might want some as well.
Hey Claire, why don't we go out sometime soon? Maybe we can catch up now that things have settled down some.

Looks like things are finally settling down a bit. Claire's up on her feet, and I'm finally unpacked. I better start finding something to do before classes start up in the summer. Maybe I'll start reading a book or do some laundry.
I can't remember the last time I had a semi-permanent place of living that I actually stayed in. My apartment doesn't even seem me this often. Though, I should call my boss about that. I think my rent's due.

Well, this isn't exactly the kind of thing I had expected in the long run, but at least it's a break from work. Sure beats waiting around to hear about the next mission. Probably less stressful too.
The name's Chris Redfield. I'll be teaching entry level fire arms class starting the end of the month going through June. There'll be a summer course for those looking to jump right into it. From there guess you guys are stuck with me in the fall. Guess I'm looking forward to teaching around here - wouldn't be the first time after all.
Better settle in. Maybe unpacking will get my mind off a few things.
